Will it catch up with her? And will she be ready to face it if it does?

Couldn't put it down. A Great bedtime read. A husband who is cleverly controlling of all aspects of his wife, friends who care but not sure who it is that needs their help the most, and new friends, in a different country who pull together through their own life experiences and come to her aid. Loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book, 19 Aug. 2017

I was fearful that this book would be slow and predictable, how wrong I was. There was no wonderfully surprising twist and for me that was the biggest twist of all. The book ended exactly how I wanted it to. For the first time in a long time I was teary when I got to the end. I genuinely couldn't put this book down. I was routing for Imogen all the way through. The subtlety of description this abusive marriage was pure genius. A truly excellent read, 5 stars
